Purpose Helps you stick to your own budget Helps reduce how much money you can lose each month

Deposit Limits help you control the amount of money you can deposit to your account every day, week, or month. They don’t change based on how much you win or lose – they’re simply about how much you deposit.

✅ Example: If you set a £70 weekly Deposit Limit and then deposit £70 at 10am on Monday morning, you can’t deposit any more until 10am the following Monday.

Loss Limits work differently because they’re about your monthly net losses – that’s the total amount of money you’ve lost after your wins are taken into account. If your net losses hit your Loss Limit, you won’t be able to play again until the next calendar month.

✅ Here’s an example for an account with a £100 Loss Limit:

  • 1st May: You spend £1 and win £100 – so you’ve gained £100 so far this month.
  • 10th May: You spend £100 but don’t win anything. You’re back where you started, so your monthly net gain so far is now £0.
  • 14th May: You spend £60 and win £10 – so you’ve lost -£50 so far this month. You can keep playing because you haven’t reached your £100 Loss Limit yet.
  • 15th May: You spend £50 but don’t win anything – so your monthly net loss is now -£100. You’ve reached your Loss Limit and you can’t play again until June 1st. This stops you losing more money at buzzbingo.com and buzzcasino.com in May.

Think of it like this:

Deposit Limit = how much you can put in
Loss Limit = how much you can lose in a month
